"Do It Once more" is a song performed by American contemporary worship band Elevation Worship. Written past Mack Brock, Chris Chocolate-brown, Matt Redman and Steven Furtick,[2] the song was released as the get-go single from their 2017 album At that place Is a Cloud.[3] [4] Information technology was released to Christian radio on Feb 23, 2018. The vocal peaked at No. 6 on the U.s.a. Hot Christian Songs chart, becoming their second Top ten single from that chart. It lasted on the charts for 33 weeks, their second longest charting song.[5] The song is played in a B-flat major central, and 172 beats per infinitesimal.[6]

Background [edit]

The earliest version of "Do It Once again" was released on September 9, 2016, as part of the extended play titled Speak Revival.[7] The live version of "Do Information technology Over again" was and so released on February 17, 2018, during the pre-club period of There Is a Cloud, as the 2d promotional single of the album.[8] [nine] It was recorded during the 12-day "Code Orange Revival" event in September 2016,[10] held by Summit Church building at its Ballantyne campus in Charlotte, North Carolina.[11] "Do It Again" impacted Christian radio on February 23, 2018, with an extended play containing the radio, live, reprise, acoustic and Spanish versions of the song released on the same twenty-four hour period.[12]

Writing and development [edit]

Worship leaders and songwriters Mack Brock and Chris Brown had an interview with Kevin Davis in Reading, Pennsylvania for a 'Behind the Song' feature published on NewReleaseToday.[13] Mack Brock shared that the song was inspired by a sermon titled "Don't Finish on half-dozen" that Steven Furtick preached at a Hillsong Conference, whereby Matt Redman identified a song concept.[13] Chris Brown, in relation to the song's takeaway message, said "We want people to know that God is true-blue."[13]

Music videos [edit]

The lyric and audio-visual videos of "Do It Again" was published on YouTube on September xxx, 2016.[14] [15] The live music video of "Do It Once again" which also includes the reprise, recorded at Elevation Church's Ballantyne campus in Charlotte, Northward Carolina was released on February 24, 2017, through YouTube.[xvi] The lyric video of the song's Spanish version titled "Lo Harás Otra Vez (Practise It Over again)" was released on Baronial 21, 2017, via YouTube.[17] The live audio-visual performance video of the song was and then published on March one, 2018 via YouTube.[eighteen]
