My toddlers loved the balls it came with. Huge con to me - My dogs decided one day to chew one of the ends of the poles and when I went to go clean it up sharp tiny clear glass like hair type particles lodged into my skin everywhere and hurt so bad. I couldn't really see them so it was such a pain trying to tweeze them or make sure they all came out. Now I know a baby isn't going to chew apart a toy like a dog can but gosh forbid the item bulges and tears for some reason. I just think it's a bit unsafe what is inside this item. I still have no idea what it was but man it hurt and I still have little cuts all over from where the tiny little glass like shards were stuck. At first i was really annoyed with this because the mat is so thin, they could of atleast made it as thick as the walls. I have to move my coffee table to put this on top of the rug everytime i use it. I dont use the hanging loops so i can watch my baby clearly while i do things plus they touch her head. The toys are nice and i like that the giraffe has music. All the toys including the balls fit in the little bag that came with this. I also like that it can be folded away without unasemblying the square shape. My baby wasn't much interested in it when she was 3 months but now she is 5 months old and it can keep her entertained for a long time. Almost a five star product, except the musical bit has started producing static instead of music. I need to get off my can and figure out how to RMA that particular bit. Overall, though, the concept is great, and it provides pretty good entertainment for our six-month-old. It collapses pretty easily and doesn't take much luggage space, making it very portable. It's especially cool seeing my daughter learn that by hitting the music box, she can produce music. I hope it's not too confusing to her now that it only produces digital static. I love the idea of the multi-use toys, and this is something she can use for awhile! The reason I docked one star, was because I was planning on using this to also help teach her about the continents and stuff, but I don't really think I can fully with Japan and most of China missing. Ours also came with some ticks in the mat (like little tiny holes) that I didn't see until after we recycled the box so I can't return it either. I still can't wait to watch her grow up in this! So the flexibile poles need a long space when being stored. My daughters cheap old Baby Einstein playmat came with a travel case. It is of a great quality, the toys are very well made and easy to clean, you can also hang your own ones too. My baby boy absolutely loves the panda and could stare at it and play with it for 30 minutes which is a long time as he gets bored very quickly. The mat size is great and it is soft. The music it plays is nice to listen to and so far the batteries seem to last quite long. The pillow has been useful to teach our baby boy tummy time, now he is happy on his tummy without it. Even though this activity gym is slightly more expensive than others I looked at, it is definitely great value for money! The colours are so vibrant a the toy selection is good. It's easily wiped clean, good quality and came on time and well packaged. It is getting more and more use as our baby grows into it. 3. Dangling toys are made of plastic and washable materials. I would like to be able to clean toys that my baby pulls into her mouth.
4. The gym can be converted into a ball pit. It's like two baby products in one.
I wasn't disappointed when the gym arrived. It was easy to put together without the instructions. It's pretty compact when all sides are folded up. The musical toy required three AAA batteries and a screwdriver. This toy is a little bit heavy. I replaced the link it came with with a hook from a different baby product.

She especially likes the musical toy and I even took it off and took with me to massage procedures to distract my girl because she used to cry. And other toys also may be used both on the mat and separately.
You can also hang other toys when she gets bored. We haven't used the balls yet but they come as an extra bonus.
I only had to spread a blanket on the mat because the fabric of the mat made my daughter sweat in hot weather.
